Kick-Off Meeting for Airport2030

The project Airport2030 is part of the larger project “Luftfahrtcluster Metropolregion Hamburg” with a total budget of 40 million Euros. The Institute of Telematics is the leader of a subproject of Airport2030 that will investigate methods to monitor passenger flows at airports with the help of embedded hard- and software. The foundation for this work is the institute's strong profile of research in the field of wireless sensor networks. The Kick-Off meeting for Airport2030 was held on March 9, 2009 at TUHH. More than 10 partners of industry and academia participate in this project that has a timeframe of five years.
