Response Time Analysis of Cross-Platform Development Tools for Smartphone Applications
Cross-platforms mobile development tools (XMTs) allow the development of applications that target several platforms with the same code base. These project work explore the approaches and technologies used by MoSync, PhoneGap and LiveCode (three major XMTs) to develop smartphone applications. It also compares the response and execution time of a test application developed in these XMTs for Android against the ones observed in an application programmed in the native SDK for the targeted operating system.
